4 things during COVID, which we should not have done to refrain ourselves, not living a normal lifestyle.

One ,

A gift wrapped under the multiple layers of wrappers often generates lot of alacrity, the more the attractive is the gift wrap, the more is the alacrity to reveal and to know the contents of the same. The same holds true for the advises/suggestions so received as well.

Coming back to the point ,our LSD (Life saving Drug — The Smart Phone) had a deluge of the traffic of worthless/pointless gyan (information) on Dos and Don’ts on/in/during/pre/post Corona (Post Corona????…..Did we really reached that stage????) through social media, which have knowingly/ unknowingly /intentionally /unintentionally, being forwarded as received, (most of which we didn’t even bothered to read and understand) ,and which have subsequently resulted to a state of confusion , similar to that of the topic of the blog, (which I guess you have read at last thrice to get the correct interpretation).

No, we should have not done that, instead we should be the chain breaker of all those confusing set of advices/suggestions /Dos and Don’ts wrapped under the multiple layers of wrappers.

Two,

“Get your friends close, get your enemies closer”. This goes fine in the normal circumstances but what we did during Covid times is , we made ourselves aloof from friends and family (both physically and mentally ) ,assuming that this will make us aloof from Covid as well ,however, by doing so , we have distorted our social immunity and invited negative considerations to reside in our mind ,resulting our body to act accordingly , feeble and feared against the behemoth Covid giant and have subsequently surrendered against COVID before actually getting infected to it.

No, we should have not done that, instead imbibed our mind with correct information and positivity.

Three,

During the initial times of Covid when there were fewer reported cases, we were far more than disciplined, punctual, and strict to ourselves, when it comes to follow the COVID guidelines of wearing masks, using hand sanitizers, maintaining social distances etc., but with COVID reported cases being actually rose with an exponential growth and when these guidelines needed to be followed with more gravity to avert the second Covid wave catastrophe, the same were taken for granted and nearly vanished. It would not be incorrect to say that, If first Covid wave was spontaneous, the second was man-made/artificial, which was allowed due to our carelessness up to a greater extent.

No, we should have not done that, instead serious and disciplined behavioral traits should have been exhibited by us, while following the COVID guidelines in true letter and spirit, to defer and dilute the second Covid wave.

Four,

The corridor of uncertainty, the ambiguity, the confusion, the ill perception about the efficacy, efficiency and hazards of the vaccine in our minds is as succinct and simple as to interpret the subject of the blog, isn’t it?? And which eventually turned out to be one of the major reasons for the retardation in the momentum of the vaccination drive in our country, followed by the scarcity of the jabs as well for contributing the same up to a certain extent.

No, we should have not done that, instead the information from qualified and authorized sources about vaccination should have been trusted and shared, over the rumors forwarded over social media .

We have heard since ages that “Prevention is better than cure “We neither took preventive measures seriously, nor upgraded our immune system to defend ourselves. Albeit, the former was in our control while the latter wasn’t, still. It is never too late to get our ships out and start over again one more time, the treasure of living a normal lifestyle (like before) is still there and still a lot can be done. All we need is to do our bit and play our part.

As rightly said by Benjamin Disraeli — Former Prime Minister of United Kingdom

“Nurture great thoughts. For you will never go higher than your thoughts.”

And these nurtured thoughts will subsequently guide our mind and heart to arrive at correct decisions cohesively and which subsequently will drive us in terms of taking right actions at the right time and will eventually make us stand tall against the deadly virus and will see a better of it.

So, once again, as I have l have already stated in my previous blog,

Life is neither that easy, as turning pages of a book nor that tough, like beating “Thanos” and that is why we the Homo Sapiens, should follow both logic of the Mind and magic of the Heart.
